I was pleasantly surprised once i hocked up our band to the board and started using this app. Control from anywhere in the venue and digital sound . . . this is great and convinient.

This app wont install in a 3GS or early Touch because it requires a forward-facing camera? I see no need for a camera to controll faders. If an IOS device has the power to run IOS6, it should be able to run My Fader too...

9.99 out of 10. A great piece of gear. Every control at your finger tips. Faster setup and tear down times. Just need a control for the solo volume just to increase for solos. No more big boards or racks.

The new update is good but very laggy, and we need it for iPhone! Cant mix from my phone because I updated the firmware in the dl1608, because its available for iPad. Need to fix this ASAP.

Compatible version for the New Master Fader needed ASAP! Brutal without it. Need a fix

Just bought a dl1608 only to find out this app doesnt work with it yet because you updated the main app only so far. Hope people are working weekends because this is BRUTAL

If you have just bought a new Mackie DL mixer, you will have to download the Master Fader 3.0 iPad app, which is not compatible with this version of My Fader. This should be clearly stated here where people download this app, not just over in the Master Fader app details, where it may or may not concern owners of that app. It has been almost 4 months since Master Fader 3 was released and still no news on when this app will be updated for compatibility

I really love this app as it is Works perfectly for my band. I like this app and the Mackie, and I dont know if it is possibly, but to make it perfect, you should add a function that allows the performer to have a wireless headphone via iPhone or iPod via wifi or Bluetooth. Again, I dont know if it is possible, but this I think comes handy to all of us musicians :) Really love this app :)

This app is fantastic! But I would like to say that I bought my DL1608 as a headphone mixer for my nuendo recording system.. It is also fantastic! What would make this system even cooler would be to design a simple iPhone app that acts as a wifi push-to-talk studio talkback com system between an iPhone app and the iPad in the DL1608.. It could be part of the iPad control app or run in the background.. And of course this should allow the audio from the iPhone push to talk app to be routed to the IPad input in the DL1608 via wifi..

Unfortunately, this app is not as reliable as I once thought. Doing a reinstall because it keeps telling me my DL 1608 is "disconnected" in wireless mode, which my iPad DL software is not corroborating. My biggest complaint about the mixer is that things have to be turned on in a specific sequence in order for the wireless remote to function properly. First the router must be turned on, then the mixer, then finally the iPad. Even that isnt working this time. This app sorely needs an update.

So far it has worked perfect, but now needs the update.

When the application works it works ok except it does it have the same functionality as iPad version. Current version does not work since the firmware was updated. Very poor planning not to release the update along with firmware and iPad version. Very poor and disappointing. This is why the 3 star rating which is probably a generous rating.

Whens the update for iPhone dl32r?

It USED to always work perfect for me. Most other reviewers with connection issues probably have poor access points. Only writing a review now because my iPad auto updated Master Fader (my fault entirely) and now my drummer cant connect to run his own IEMs. Come on guys, please update things together and dont leave us up a creek for no reason.

Please get up to speed to match Master Fader update that my iPad updated automatically!!! Frustration when your band cant connect due to lack of ability to use all features intended. Getting ready to sell the DL1608 and go to QSC if it doesnt happen soon....

Mackie Master Fader is the best sound desk I have ever seen. The quality it produces is phenomenal. Update for iPhone is required urgently. For the last couple weeks we are unable to set sound on and off stage simultaneously. We await the update
