Mackie My Fader App Reviews

Works great on the iPad. But no use on the iPhone. Update needed ASAP!!!

I needed to use the Master Fader 3.0 update (iPad), so now this version 2.1.1 of Mackie My Fader will not work with the Mackie DL mixer. So, unfortunately, I must give this 1 star because it no longer works with my Mackie mixer.

NEED THE UPDATE!!!!

Why would they ever release a firmware/software update to the iPad that leaves the iPhone app useless? Those updates need to be released at the same day. Were currently stuck mixing in-ears from the iPad because of their poorly planned updates.

What possible reasoning could Mackie have for releasing Master Fader 3.0 months before My Fader 3.0…? Such a knee jerk decision. I loved the My Fader app, but now its useless until sometime in mid-January. Thats totally unacceptable. Remember Mackie, you make products for hardworking gigging musicians, that means we NEED our things to work as advertised in the field.

After MasterFader auto updated to v3.0 without prompting or warning, I contacted Loud Technology/Mackie. After being ignored for over a month, finally got an answer. Its updated will be previewed at NAMM 2015. (Jan 22-ish) and put on iTunes in February. In other words a dumbed down version of the MasterFader app will take 3-4 months later to release. Terrible customer support. Get the comparable QSC board for a little more...no iPad needed and better customer support.

I love it but its not compatible with the latest update for the 1608 sound board. Please update My Fader and fix this. Thank you.

Id love to give this app 4 or even 5 stars for its usefulness during worship services, but until its updated to match the sound systems updated software, I really cant...

This version is really glitchy and slow. OH n why would you put scrolling names in global view?!? That is so irking! I gotta deal with this app can you make these fixes please.

When I first bought my Mackie it was great. Then like many others the auto update happened and new firmware installed. My iPad works great but my phone and band members no longer have any control. I called was told they were working on it. That was back Dec 19 and Im still waiting. Please if you do another system update do it all together! Not being able to use it the way it was sold to me is frustrating!

Had the Dl and pad and iPod app for "years". Great, love it. Would be good to have the iPod backbone in use after the last update of master fader,

Love the app. Its very convenient however Im sorely depressed as to how long the froogin iPhone update is taking! This is your job and your product and you are not doing a good job of keeping your clients happy. We pay your bills and our tongues can result in your success or fall. PLEASE allow me to only speak highly of your company as my patience is running out. Good day.

Its a good thing I have this awesome app on my phone, that I cant use.

Well... Here we are and NAMM came and went without the my fader update... Come on Mackie whats up with the missing app update? WE NEED IT!!!

This app worked amazing before the Master Fader 3.0 update. I cant believe its been 2.5 months without updating the iPhone app. Mackie, you dropped the ball on this one and need to correct this issue ASAP! ~Frustrated Customer

Does anyone know when this will update? Extremely poor planning when you release a new update for you product but now its functionality has decreased :-( please fix this it has been long enough. Signed 280+ shows per touring musician. The X32 rack is starting to look like my next purchase.
